You're flesh and bone, but nothing is real.

Woke up hung over this morning. Wasn't too concerned though since Aunty Jean was taking me for lunch and I knew I'd get a bit of hair o the dog, haha. We drove down to Broughty Ferry and had sandwiches at the pub, then saw the beach that reminded me of Halifax, saw Nana's old house, and the neighborhood she grew up in with Jean and Douglas. Did some more driving, then went back to D&D's to watch the UK version of Deal or no Deal which was way better because I didn't have to see that stupid fucker that hosts it in Canada, not that I ever watch it anyway. Since it was my last night, we went to an Inn for our High Tea. Had poached salmon with veggies and potatoes, tea, toast, and cakes. I was fucking STUFFED by the end. Saw a couple of raging dykes at the bar too, to bad I couldn't share the humour with my company... After supper I said my goodbye and Jean took me to Aunty Mary's. I rang the doorbell, and she stood there for a moment, not realizing who I was, before busting a grin and giving me a huge hug. She's so sweet, looks just like Granddad. Her house is like Great Nannie's but less tacky. I got the upstairs room, but alas, no neon orange sheets. I've been blessed with pink flannel! (Only Tracey and Davina will understand...)
