I woke up 'early' this morning, showered, and had breakfast. Uncle Doug was at the shop up the street getting the paper and walking His Highness. Once we were all ready, we hopped in the car, Fergus got his seatbelt fastened and his pillow adjusted, and we drove to The Law, which is a hill on top of a dormant volcano. From the top you can see a 360 degree view of all of Dundee. It was a gorgeous day, sunny and clear, and the view was just incredible. I could see the train and car bridges across the River Tay, and smoke stacks from the old jute mills. There's also an observatory about 20 minutes from The Law. Afterwards, we had lunch at a farm in the country, then we toured around an antique shop and a local produce market. Fergus waited in the car with the windows down and his sun-shield on the dash, but he might have been thirsty, so we went back. On the drive home, we visited the town where J.M. Barrie was born (he wrote Peter Pan), and we stopped at a garden shop for some plants. Then while driving, we passed a guy selling fresh fish from a van, so we bought some for our tea to go with the salad, olives, dolmades, and feta-stuffed peppers. After tea, we sat in the summer house, drank wine, and listened to classical music. I almost fell asleep, bloody luxury.
