Happy Birthday me!! It's absolutely gorgeous outside my plane window. A sliver of moon is perched in the sky above a salmon-coloured horizon line, and I'm 'flying' on two glasses of complimentary red wine and some T3's from my good pal Patrick. Nana drove me to the airport earlier today and I had a good cry in Jerkins-I-mean-Perkins with my sister. The float plane to Vancouver was AWESOME; such amazing views of the wrinkled ocean and specks of island. We are currently flying across the West side of Hudson Bay, over a place called Rankin Inlet. It's -58 degrees outside the airplane, can you believe it? My flying partner is a sweet-as-pie Glasgow local named Kitty, who I've been chatting with on and off between the Big Wreck I'm listening to and the shitty Jennifer Aniston movie she's watching. We've just finished dinner, which was surprisingly decent... I love Zoom Airlines! Anyways, it's bed time. What a way to spend my 21st.....
