Are you leaving me here with the taste of the end?
Well. Impetuous Youth's last show was probably the best one. I had an undescribable amount of fun. I hung out with people I rarely see anymore. I was, briefly, sincerely happy. The crowd was completely into us, and I felt really sad that this was our last show. We did an encore, then left the stage to join the crowd. Crowned King was so much fun. There was a huge skank pit, and I was right front and centre. Sweat was dripping everywhere and it reaked like teenagers and alcohol. At the same time, it was an adrenaline rush like no other. Everyone had their arms around eachother and we danced like we were on drugs. Well, some of us were. After the show ended and most people had left the room, I helped pack gear into Meghan and Cat-Rine's vehicles. Then I went to Trevor's house and unloaded it all. Trevor came over to my house afterwards because he was leaving the next day for Canmore. When I woke up the next morning, I felt like playing some guitar. I wrote some pretty interesting stuff, then I decided to call Jason. He wanted to meet me down at the show with Jackie. I wasn't planning on going to this show, but I decided to if it meant that some of my friends would be there. I bummed six bucks off my mom, and walked down. The turn-out sucked. There was maybe 50 people there, probably less. I hung around with Bradley, Kyle, Lotte, and some other folk who's names I didn't know. Some drunk guy named Troy offered me pot and told me I was cute. I didn't take it as a compliment. Occasionally, I would venture inside and watch the band for a bit, but most of the time I sat on the stairs outside James Street Billiards. Jason and Jackie never showed up. The show ended, and I walked home alone.
