My goodness, my guiness!
This morning we loaded the bus with our new driver, and headed for Cahir Castle in Tiperrary. Did a little tour, then went to Cashel for lunch. We learned that Joe's brother is being taken off life support at 1pm today. The rest of the bus ride was very somber, and we picked up a sympathy card to sign for him.
Our next stop was the Guiness Brewery. Mark the Aussi had been there before, so he took us around and showed us the tour before hightailing it to the gravity bar where we got our free Guiness and signed Joe's card. Back outside, we got a group picture, then drove to the hostel where everyone said goodbye. Some were staying in Dublin, but I had to get to Belfast and try and catch the ferry, so we all hugged and exchanged emails and off we went. It was quite sad, we'd become like a family. Drinking together, sharing a room and showers, laughing, telling life stories, not keeping ANYTHING a secret, hahaha. Oh my. I'm gonna miss the Paddywagon.
