Well despite my promise of a new-month resolution, I did not find a job today. I didn't even try. Wait, that's not entirely true. I called some financial company that emailed me about job openings (the wonders of Monster.ca), and I got the answering machine. Taking this as an adequate oportunity to give up, I half-heartedly took down the fax number and hung up. Trevor came home from Idaho today, and I went over to his house to hang out for awhile. His sister is going to have a baby in like seven weeks. It's pretty cool.
For the first time in months, I have plans. Yep, that's right, and get this: they're conflicting. Isn't that just my fucking luck. On Friday I'm invited to a costume party. There's also this show at the Romper Room where Oliver's band is playing. Oliver is this guy from Wendy's that Catherine is trying to set me up with. I'm not too psyched about that whole being-set-up bullshit, so I've decided to see if he would be worth jamming with instead. I think, in the end, I'll go to the costume party. Being around a whole bunch of drunks seems more appealing than making small-talk with some dude.
Apple pears are so great. I can eat them without getting goosebumps.
I think I have a problem with lying to people.......
